When selecting the appropriate bag size, it's crucial to measure your item's width, height, and depth, as the plastic bag needs to fit snugly around it. To determine the bag size, the item width plus the item depth should equal the bag width, while the item height plus the item depth should equal the bag height. Remember to add an extra 1/2" to the bag width to allow for the zipper opening.

The term "Mil" refers to the plastic thickness, and our 2 Mil bags are slightly thicker than the standard sandwich bag, measuring .002" in thickness. Importantly, our reclosable bags are made from virgin LDPE (low-density polyethylene), meeting FDA requirements for food contact and storage, and are BPA-free.

Using these bags is simple. To open, separate the two sides of the bag's top opening with your thumbs to gently pull the zipper track apart. To close, pinch together one end of the zipper and slide your finger and thumb along the zipper, remembering to squeeze out any excess air.
