The bag's width should be the item's width plus depth, and the height should be the item's height plus depth, with an additional 1/2" for the zipper opening.

The "Mil" refers to the plastic thickness, and our 4 Mil bags (.004" thick) are thicker than standard freezer bags, providing excellent protection for heavy-duty applications. These bags are also food-safe, as they are made from virgin LDPE (low-density polyethylene), meeting FDA requirements for food contact and storage, and are BPA-free.

To open and close the bags, simply separate the two sides of the bag's top opening with your thumbs to gently pull the zipper track apart, and then pinch together one end of the zipper and slide your finger and thumb along the zipper to close it. Remember to squeeze out any excess air as you close the zipper.
